Somehow, I accidentally clicked "open with" and clicked on Adobe. Now everything in load library has an adobe emblem next to it. How do I get the lib. emblem back? Thanks, Ron

Depends on your operating system. Easiest way though, is to do it again. Right-click on a .lib fil, choose "open with" and choose your version of Finale. If Finale doesn't show, browse to find it. Make sure that "Always use this program to open files of this type" is checked.

When I do that, it won't open. It says invalid file type. There used to be a lib. icon next to perc maps, clefs, etc. Now there's the finale icon and it won't open. I can't find the .lib icon.

It's not a Finale file. When you look at he characterists of the .lib files, it says "Finale Library File" for type and it opens with "Unknown application." This requires some digging. I suggest contacting MM support.

Assuming that you have Windows XP...

open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer)
Tools - Folder Options
Scroll to the .lib Extension and highlight it
Click on DELETE to delete it.
Click NEW
In the File Extension Box type ".lib"
Click the ADVANCED button
Eventually you will get a "Associated File Type dropdown box
Click the down arrow and choose "Finale Library File" Click OK
Click OK however many times it takes to close up all the open windows and you should be done.

It should be similar in Vista, but you are on your own there since I don't have Vista
