Not sure if this can be done in Finale but....
I have a solo violin on one staff and I did not use any HP or any markings on the staff, So all you hear is the violin with vibrato....no other articulations. Is it possible to overdub.....record midi cc changes such as crescendo and decrescendo, pizzicato, attack etc....

I have been able to do it before. Depending on how it all needs to be added and where, you could use HyperScribe and then, during the recording process, adjust the knobs on your MIDI Keyboard relating to volume, etc. I have not OVER DUBBED and kept the recorded Continuous Data that was just recorded. Hyperscribe will record over what was just entered. It will work for multiple CC settings if you adjust them both during recording at the same time - hard to do, but possible.

IMHO I would do it in Cubase if that is something that is possible.
