I can't tell if the problem I'm having is a Finale matter or a computer issue. When I have grace notes in a score, during playback Finale almost always hangs up on one of the notes & continues playing it for remainder of the piece. This is terribly annoying & I can't get around it by setting a grace note duration under human playback options or even by turning off human playback entirely. Any ideas?

What sound source are you using - a VST, MIDI, external? Sounds like it may not be a Finale problem, but a problem with an external sound source not receiving the Note Off data.

I'm using an external MIDI keyboard, connected to the computer through a Cakewalk UM-3G interface.

Yeah, that's what I thought - I'm not too familiar with what might be causing it. I'm sure someone here will have advice. I CAN tell you it has something to do with the MIDI connection, maybe the MIDI setup.

The only thing I can think of - try toggling Match On/Off in teh MIDI setup and see if that does anything
