Hi
Can we with finale 2011 change the flag of individuals notes such as 8th or 16th notes? I know that in the document options we can set up for to use straight flags but that does it for all notes How can we do in for individuals notes? Is there any answer to this.

Your help is greatly appreciated

In Tools - Special Tools - Custom Stems you can choose a shape for any individual stem. If there isn't one there that you want, you can design your own.

You would do this with the Custom Stem Tool. Create a stem with flag that would take the place of the existing stem with flag.

When you create your own stem, you can enter text using any font that you want. So if you look at the contents of different fonts, then you can choose an exsting stem/flag from that font.
