Why the assigned tempo in any finale is not precise? When I am saving the playback as an audio file, and than open it in any recording programs (I have Cubase, but I also tried Pro Tools, and Logic), the tempo of this file does not coincide with the metronom from the recording program.

I also tried to save my finale work as a MIDI. When I open it in Cubase I need to apply the quantization in order to play it in correct tempo.

Do you have HP on ? HP does adjust the tempo during playback; if you turn it off I think the tempo should be exact (although I've never checked this).

I had a similar problem a while back, and turning HP ON solved the problem.

By default it is always ON. If I switch it OFF it does not follows the tempo marking, so I had to leave it ON, but using a custom HP, turning off everything that would affect the tempo. Looks like problem is solved. Thanks!

Does "tempo giusto" have an effect when HP is on?

If the composer says in effect to the performer: "I do not care whether you perform my music or not," we cannot argue the matter. But if he indicates: "I want you to perform and respond to this music," then his fundamental duty is to write his music so that it is accessible to interpretation. When the performer cannot approach the composer's meaning because of capriciously obscure notation, he may in effect say to the composer: "Why should I bother to puzzle out your music?" - Gardner Read

If "tempo giusto" is assigned a specific tempo, HP should follow it.

You might try deleting "moderato" from the tempo menu and see if that helps.
