I had become used to using the mass edit tool for determining and changing the number of measures per line etc. It doesn't seem to be in the 2010 version. What do I use in it's place?
Also when I set up a document using the set up wizard and select the Jazz font, the rests appear as accidentals. How do I change this? Also my repeats seem to have circles in place of dots. Any ideas how to change this?
I guess I have a bit of a learning curve ahead despite being a Finale user for well over 10 years now.
Thanks.

If the composer says in effect to the performer: "I do not care whether you perform my music or not," we cannot argue the matter. But if he indicates: "I want you to perform and respond to this music," then his fundamental duty is to write his music so that it is accessible to interpretation. When the performer cannot approach the composer's meaning because of capriciously obscure notation, he may in effect say to the composer: "Why should I bother to puzzle out your music?" - Gardner Read | | Back to Top | |
