Some of my scores include measure numbers in regions 1 and 2. For the parts, I like to include only the region 1 measure numbers. I could delete the region 2 measure numbers in the score before I extract parts and save the score with other changes as a "parts score," but I've done this before, and I'm looking for a different way to do this.

I've been trying to get a script to work to delete region 2 measure numbers in the parts, but I haven't gotten anything to work yet.

Among other attempts, I've tried:

measure tool
measure numbers
edit regions
highlight region 2
press delete
click OK

Can anyone suggest script changes here that would delete region 2 measure numbers? I've looked through the Finalescript pages in the user manual, and I found nothing on using the measure tool. Does this mean it can't be done? Any suggestions? Thanks.

This script works OK in Fin2009 german:

menu "takt"
menu item "taktzahlenabschnitte bearbeiten"
tab 3
down arrow
press alt "f"

hit "OK"

This is my translation attempt:

menu "measure"
menu item "edit measure number regions..."
tab 3
down arrow
press alt "d"

hit "OK"

Gruss

Thanks, Gruss. I'll work with this script and see what happens.
