So I've been on 2012a for a while. How am I supposed to find out about new updates (like the 2012c I downloaded just now)?

Further, where are the release notes for this build? I didn't see any in the included Read Me file, and I can't spot them on the website.

With no info the best I can see is minor fixes. Still haven't fixed the units issue.

Ctj,

2012c was more of an under-the-hood update for us. It including some licensing additions for our Repertoire Development team, and also a digital signature with Apple for their new Gatekeeper functionality in Mountain Lion (10.8).

Jim - The unit fix was actually a part of this combo release, however, you will need to reassign the units before students can open them. Delete the old assignments with the mass 'remove assignment' option in the top-right of the Gradebook. If your students are still not able to open the assignments then let us know.

I'll test it shortly and let you know. I hope it works and thanks for the update.

On another note, is the plan to do updates for a while and do a smartmusic major upgrade later? kinda like what finale is doing? Just asking.

I will be glad to hear the news. I like what I am hearing on the finale side and if it follows the current trend, many folks will be very happy.
