I want to change lyric default settings so I don't have to go through the same routine every time I compose a hymn. I want to use the same font each time. I don't use word extensions, and I don't use auto-hyphen. Further, I want to be rid of the measure numbers if I want them, I'll add them. Any suggestions?

Create a template with all your settings. Use that as the template from which you create new documents.
