My son practiced with smart music yesterday, and no problem. He exited out of smart music, did something else, and then wanted to go back to smart music later. Not only was he unable to open smart music again, but our sound card is off of the computer. So we can't play anything with sound on the computer. How did this happen????

At times after working with an audio application I've lost audio. It hasn't happened for me yet with SmartMusic, but usually just restarting the computer corrects the problem. If that doesn't do it, send an e-mail to winsupport@makemusic.com or call them up tomorrow. Even if restarting does solve it, the problem should not be persistent, so if it starts doing it regularly, you should contact customer support.


Windows XP, all updates
