When I copy music from a new 2012 file and paste/insert it into another 2012 file, the font of dynamics changes from Petrucci to Maestro. For example, a mezzo-piano dynamic in a 2012 file I create displays as Petrucci, but when I insert the music and attached dynamics into another 2012 template, it changes to Maestro.
All settings for expression categories are set to Petrucci in all my templates, and my default music font is Petrucci as well. I've never encountered this problem in previous editions of Finale. Any ideas?
At the very least, in previous versions, whenever I inserted music to another file the attached expressions, articulations, etc. would be added to the libraries and display as is if they weren't already found in the library. So, what are we trying to do?

P.S.: I see now. I will have to spend time to see why. For expressions, the quick fix is to move the dynamic (or other expression) to the category that has the other dynamics and it will take on the Petrucci font. As far as articulations, i'll investigate later. "When all is said and done, more is said than done."

My guess is that it has something to do with the setup of the files. I can't say exactly where the files have gone wrong, but I can say that Finale has some things hard wired and some things under user control. For example, a file without Libraries still has Expression categories, although empty. You can duplicate these, but you can't delete them. You can, however, delete the duplicates. There is some interesting configuration of the files in terms of empty categories and duplicates. I'm guessing there might be some connection to the problem.
As far as articulations are concerned, I'm sure there is also some connection as to how the files were set up.
