In the UK Grade System the student is given Scales and Arpeggios in a key  drawn at Random from a sub-set of all keys (or indeed all scales at the higher levels).  Response time is an element of the marking.

 

Wouldn't it be helpful if SmartMusic could change the key of an exercise at Random as it loops round, to replicate this challenge, either from all keys or even more sophisticatedly, from a user-defined sub-set of all possible keys?

Does anyone else think this might be useful. If so I could write to SM team and suggest it for a later release.
