Hi!
Somebody could help me!
I don't know why, but I have a little file that doesn't open anymore. Finale shows a window with "while attempting to acess "name of the file" the file maneger report an error -39.

I try to verify my HD, repair all my permissions, I tried to open it in another MAC, and nothing works.

thanks

Marcelo

You didn't say if you restarted your computer. If I remember right that error means an unexpected end of file.

It means Finale came to the end of the file before it could be interpreted. Sorry to say, the data in the file is probably gone.

I set Finale to save a backup when saving files in Preferences, and I also bought an Apple Time Capsule (network backup disk) which has save my a** more than once.

Ok thanks Steve!

I have used finale since 1994 and it never happens to me before. Usually, I have a back up file, but this time I forgot.
