Okay, I write a lot of piano stuff using this program. Now, if I need to hide a rest in a measure or staff, how do I do it, since I cannot just delete it in simple entry. I have tried to look through the manual but didn't find any clue.

Go to Speedy Entry.
Put the cursor on the rest you want to hide.
Press the letter "o"
Press "o" again if you want a hidden rest to reappear.

You cannot hide the default whole rest, if that's what you're trying to do. So, enter a real whole rest, and then use Dick's method to hide it.

You CAN hide the default rest, create a Staff Style for it and apply in the measures.

Yes, creating a staff style is another way to do that. Thanks for the alternative.
