I'm working on a Finale File which I'm planning on exporting to SmartMusic. In the dialogue for adding SmartMusic markers there are a bunch of markers for swing assessment that I didn't add. I tried deleting them all, but next time I opened it they were there again. How can I make these go away so I'm able to create my own swing assessment markers.

FYI I'm using Finale 2009

Thanks!

You'll probably get better answers if you post in the SmartMusic forum. I don't think that many of us here use SmartMusic.

ChicagoMike,

This is a pretty unusual Finale issue - our tech folks will need to look over the MUS file (we won't need the SMP version). You can get in touch with them at makemusic.custhelp.com/app/ask for this one.

As a cautionary note, SmartMusic doesn't assess SMP files with swing enabled, so there might be more to it than just the markers.

Thanks,

James Lund
