I currently calculate the playback length of my Finale scores by exporting a MIDI version to a sequencer (which displays elapsed playback time in minutes, seconds, frames and subframes).

I cannot find a similar facility within Finale. Does anyone know if one exists, or whether there is a tool or plug-in available?

Ian:

If I'm understanding you properly, just select Mass Mover and press 5.

Cheers.

That's for the whole piece. You may also want to calculate the elapsed time for a region: select some measures first, hit 5.

And 5 is a Metatool shortcut version of Mass Mover Tool > Mass Mover Menu > Utilities > Check Elapsed time.
