Is the SmartMusic Viewer no longer free software?
 
I recall having it on my computer and being able to view scores... But now I need to download it again and I cannot find it on the Finale website...
 
Can anybody help me? sad
 
I used to be able to view a musical score like this one:
 
 
Without a hitch!
 
But now I need to re-download it and on the bottom of that web page it has the link down the bottom, but on the Finale site I cannot find the free SmartMusic Viewer.

Generally the Finale Viewer (name changed from SmartMusic Viewer to Finale Viewer) is not used any longer, as it isn't compatible with files made with anything past Finale 2003. Now files on the Showcase are just in Finale format and can be opened with the free NotePad software.

If you are trying to view files created for the older viewers, you can find the Finale Viewer at www.finalemusic.com. Go to Support at the top of the page and then Downloads. Type in Viewer in the search box, and it should come up when you click to perform the search.

Windows XP, all updates
