We have voice recognition software that prints words from verbal delivery.  Is there anything similar for music recognition to printed music?

If I'm not mistaken, that is what "micnotator" is that comes with Finale. Attach a microphone to your clarinet, turn it on, play away and the music goes to notes in Finale. Hyperscribe is the same idea for your midi keyboard.

But I have never used it. Check out the main page for an explanation of Mcnotator.
