I came across a rather major bug with a function of smart shapes.

If I take any line in my score and use the contextual menu to apply “Align Horizontally”, the line becomes fat grey (almost like as staff style) but if I click anywhere else, the whole Finale window becomes grey.
Impossible to get things working again from there, I tried everything.
Quit is the only way out.

I really need to fix my custom lines but I really don't know how to work around this.

Is this with all files? Do you have a sample we could test?

Looks like it is happening in my current work document.
I can't reproduce this with a bran new simple file...
MM has the file now.
