Can Finalescript read existing margin settings and alter them, in other words I want a script to, say, increase the left margin by .5 inch. I understand how to SET it to .5 inch, but not to increase the current setting by .5.

If so, How? I seem to remember some reference to variables in FS, but find no mention in the reference guide.

Thanks

Spence

Hi Bill

I've had a brief look, and have not (yet) found any way of doing so with Finalescript
I've made a small suggestion to the question you posed in the mac forum.

Cheers...

Maybe Finalescript cannot, but JWLua certainly can.  I'll write a simple script to increase the left margin by 0.5 inch.

Attached is a simple JW Lua script.  No UI, but you can easily edit the script code to suit your needs.
