Does anybody have an idea for me?
Yes; don't extract parts, use linked parts instead. Unless you are dealing with very large and massively complex orchestral scores, there are unlikely to be any circumstances which require part extraction because linked parts can't handle them.
This is not to say, of course, that MM shouldn't fix the problem anyway ...

Then File -> print, and in the window that appears, select the checkboxes corresponding to the parts/score that you want to print. So lets see if the link parts printing does it. Thanks Terry | Back to Top

Yet all of them just show "score." In the Text tool, create a text block on the score. Then text menu -> Inserts -> Score/part name. Score will then be changed into the individual staff names (instruments) in the parts, extracted or linked. Oh Jeanie said... 1) I tried "linked parts" but the manual says that if I wanna have parts as separate documnets, "see extracting parts."
But that's the point of linked parts; you don't need separate documents any more ...

(As I know, a viewer is not available for Finale2012 yet.) I've looked through the manual and given it a try about "linked parts" but couldn't find out that it's possible to make PDFs all in one go. (Maybe because "save as PDF" is broken now; I can't see it after I reinstalled finale.)
What should I look in? Or how to do it? | Back to Top
