Hi in Finale up till Finale 25 when I had put in a transposing instrument the key signature was written automatically to the right key. in Finale 25 it isn't the case? I need to go to the staff menu make the instrument independent key, then add or subtract how much sharps or flats the instrument needs. in Ctr k it says by that instrument add.. sharps but in the score it doesn't change. I got to know this as I was writing a score and the playback was awful, Checked again and again until I saw the Clarinet has three flats instead of one. as I mentioned before in ctr K it's said add two sharps, but the three flats where there. I had to do it manually. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks

Go to the Score Manager and check the staff transposition for the Clarinet. It should be "B flat, up a major 2nd".

Don't mess with Independent Key Signatures.
