I am trying to insert a listing of chords at the top of the document. Previously I had used the Seville Font in text mode but the chords I am using are customized and not in the Seville family.
I have tried using a staff and then hiding it, but the chords don't show up. When I choose show fretboards it effects the entire document and not just the measure I am trying to "reveal".
Also, adding a measure at the beginning after setting up the pages has corrupted the entire document. Is there a way to add the measure at the beginning and not have the remaining systems be effected?
Any help would be appreciated.
David

Create a staff style which utilizes blank notation and sets the staff to have 0 lines.
So, Staff>Define Staff Styles.
Hit New.
Name it.
Check the Select button under "Alternate Notation."
Set it to Blank Notation.
Hit OK.
Set the Staff drop-down list to "Other."
Set the staff lines to 0.
Hit OK twice.
Now, apply that staff style with Staff>Apply Staff Styles.
