Wow that was a fast update from v0.17 to v0.18.......about twenty five minutes. I just wish Finale and Sibelius was so quick in updates or bug fixes.

I can't find the Print to PDF in the Interface?
This version 17 is very stable except for Menu 3 Finishing Touches which keeps crashing Finale (2014d).
I tried 18, but did not like the look of the icons. Good Idea, but maybe correctly sized icons for the interface is needed.

Yeah those buttons are kind of obnoxious currently. It may be a week or two before I get to that.
Currently the print feature has macros that go through 11x17 and 8.5 x 11 on menu 3 and 4 like in your picture. There should be simply one print button that determines the size of the page and then prints to pdf. It will activate page layout -> resize page to copy the values in those boxes and use it to print to pdf (that's the quickest way I know how to get that info, maybe it is easier?). That'll make it so there's only one button and flexibility. I will whip that up soon.
As far as the crashing goes, I'm not quite sure what to say. Does it do any part of the macro? I have windows 7 2012c and it works fine.
All it does is check ties, accidentals, durations. Once you close durations, it goes on to JW Cautionary Accidentals (it looks for a folder called JWTools or if you have JW Cautionary accidentals right under Plug-ins, it will work. It should've notified you that if it got that far. Then it simply inserts score system dividers.

Just make sure your AHK script points to the default install location for the dependencies. That's what I would do / have done.

Cross-Platform - Because AHK is only for Windows and most serious Finale people use MAC... Uh, not! Most but not all Motet. There are some serious Finale-Windows users, most notably you and others that post here often. The majority of people I encounter outside of here, however, in academic and professional environments use mac exclusively.
?????? Might some of that be a "snoob factor"?

Not Finale. One only has to read these forums. The Mac version has many problems the Windows version does not, including performance. I wonder if the Mac version can even handle a large piece like an opera. Reports from the front are not encouraging. Don't get me wrong--I like the Mac. But there seems to be an amateurish facet to its OS upgrades, etc., and I wonder if a serious Finale user like a publisher puts up with that.
As to number of users, the topic and posting ratios between the Windows and Mac forums here are about 2 to 1 in favor of Windows. While that doesn't say anything about "serious" users, in absence of any other evidence, I'd say you are simply guessing. It's true that the Mac is more popular among the non-technical, which I guess describes the majority of musicians. But better not to make these sweeping statements absent of facts.
