Hello Guys!

I'm trying to write a glissando inside a 5/8 compass, but one problem occurs when I try to hide the pauses: the beans automatically disappear.

In resume: I'm trying to do the effect notated in my jpg example, however, adapting it to a 5/8 measure. To do this I need to hide the pauses (to make the glissando lasts all the measure).

How can I do this?

Thanks a million!!!

Don’t hide the rests.

Instead, move the rests down below the bottom of the page.
In that way the rests will not print - even if they are not Hidden, technically speaking.

To move the rests down, use the plug-in Move Rests.

Rather than drag the rests around, why not just hide them (with the "h" key)?

Because the layout needs the beams:
