I use SmartMusic all the time in my ensemble classes as well as small group beginner lessons. I also have a SmartBoard in the room (yes, I know it is a different company) and until this year have not had any problems. This year though with the updated SmartMusic I am having an issue where if I use my mouse attached to the computer to double click something it works fine (to open up a lesson book for example on pages where there is no open button on the screen). But if I try to double click by tapping on the SmartBoard, SmartMusic does not recognize it. It registers the single clicks just fine, just not the doubles. I've also had problems selecting a different instrument while viewing a piece of music. Like SM doesn't want to realize that I am click/holding in order to select the instrument I want.

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the board people this morning and in the end they pointed out that since the double click from the board works fine with everything else on the computer it has to be an issue inside of SmartMusic with it not recognizing the double click from the board. Has anyone else had this issue and if so is there a workaround for it?

Thank you for any insight you might be able to provide.
