I have a Roland Keyboard and a sound module connected with the Roland UM-1G plug. I cannot get playback to work on my computer.

Are you trying to use the UM-1 with Windows 10? If so there are a couple of solutions. The easiest is to replace the UM-1. See this thread: http://forum.makemusic.com/default.aspx?f=5&m=458509
