I doubt you can do it with writing a pretty substantial interface layer to communicate with the PDK's C++ interface. We've done this in order to write plug-ins in Visual Basic and Java. But it's a big project which is probably only worth it for large plug-ins like our Dolet translators.

Hmmm - I wouldn't call it scripting if it has to be written in C++ . (Note, no prejudice against C++ as I've been programming in it for over 12 years).
I assumed that there was an automation interface....
Oh well.
