Hello Guys. I'm having big problems here...
In Finale 2011 we could use midi vsts related to MIDI channels not contained in Score Manager. Well, in Finale 2014 this is still possible, but unfortunately the vsts not directed to staffs do not appear in Score Manager. That's my problem: As I'm using an instrument from kontakt player that is not contained in Score Manager, I can't change its volume (that would be located within the "Vol." column in Score Manager, because it's not related!)
Even if I turn the mod wheel cc in Kontakt Player, when using Finale's playback, the dynamics sounds always lower, because the volume goes to 101! I noticed that the dynamic increases but the sound of the instrument is opaque, without the characteristic glow from F or FF dynamics. But, if I relate the same instrument to a staff, I can use the volume control of the Score Manager. However, the score remains visually "dirty", full of staffs with notes that appear eventually.
Is there a way to increase the volume from VSTs not listed in the Score Manager?????????????????????????????????????
If missing data makes this impossible in Finale, can someone show me a way to perform this operation on Kontakt Player?
As always, many thanks for your help!!!
