Quite simply, I can't hear anything. It goes through the piece but I can't hear anything. And yes, my speakers are on, windows (98) plays other sounds so it's nothing that mundane.

Go to the Coda home page. Click on Support > Knowledge Base. In the Search field, type in something like 'MIDI playback'. You will get plenty of articles to help you troubleshoot your problem.
I think you will find that your MIDI Out Device is not set properly.

Well the thing is, it worked a couple days ago and now... I'm pretty sure I didn't change any settings.

Do all your Finale files fail to sound?
Is it possible you have somehow set the key velocities or continuous data volumes to zero with the MIDI tool?
