Hello, I recently was working on a project and lost all my data due to power problems. I managed to recover a bakx file of my work but can't get it opened? It tells me "Invalid file type" and then points to the directory. Can anyone help me recover this file? Or maybe instruct me on how to do it? I have attached it so that you guys may have a look. Thanks!

File Attachment :
General Mitchell.bakx   221KB (application/octet-stream)
This file has been downloaded 317 time(s).

You should be able to just rename it to General Mitchell.musx, but I'm afraid it appears to be corrupted. Do you have an Autosave file (.asvx) by any chance?

Hi Motet, thank you for the reply. Unfortunately it doesn't look like I have an Autosave file. Is all lost?

If I were you I would contact customer support and see if they can somehow recover the file.
