Hi - I am trying to get create a script to move the instrument names closer to the staff. In "Edit Staff Attributes" I am successfully changing the position of the full instrument name, but not the abbreviated name. I need to reference two buttons, both named "Position". Is there a way in which to call a button by its place in the menu, or something like that?
thanks
Linda

Press "OK"
Click "Position" next "Abbr. Staff Name:"
Dropdown "Right" near "Alignment:"
Type "-0.16667" near "H:"
Type "-0.05556" near "V:"
Press "OK"

Dropdown "S,A" next "Staff Attributes For:"
Click "Position" next "Full Staff Name:"
Dropdown "Right" near "Alignment:"
Type "-0.16667" near "H:"
Type "-0.05556" near "V:"
Press "OK"
Click "Position" next "Abbr. Staff Name:"
Dropdown "Right" near "Alignment:"
Type "-0.16667" near "H:"
Type "-0.05556" near "V:"
Press "OK"

Dropdown "T,B" next "Staff Attributes For:"

Thanks!!! Worked like a charm! I was trying:
Click "Position" near "Abbr. Staff Name.....
somehow the "near" was not working here, but the "next" did.
Thanks again
Linda
