open the Print window choose Save as PDF The Save As window pops up - the file name is displayed in the window I modify the title, if needed, The new file is saved as a PDF doc.
with v25:
I open the Print window choose Save As PDF Save As window opens - the file name is not recognized, shows as "Untitled" I type in the proper title The new doc is saved as PDF, but the file title is also lengthened to include either "Score" or, if it's an extracted part, it states the instrument name.
So for instance, if I have just extracted a trumpet part from a score, saving as PDF and I give it the name "Huckleberry_Tpt" Finale saves the as "Huckleberry_Tpt - Trumpet in Bb.pdf".
Or if I create a single chart - like guitar - saving as PDF will produce a file name like "Huckleberry_Gtr - Score.pdf".
However, if I open a doc that was created with Finale 14, the Print Window PDF, Save As and file naming process works as it always has.
This new behavior is not helpful and requires that I modify every doc title after it's created.
Is there a way to change the Print Window - PDF - Save As process back to the way it was before?
Thanks. Finale 2014.d MacPro (Late 2013) 16 GB RAM OS X 10.10.4 Garritan JABB, Ivory American Grand Pianos, Embertone, BFD3, Mach V, Pro Tools, Reason... | Back to Top | |
