finale 2012

I'm sure this is in the literature, but I couldn't find it, probably because I don't know how to say it succinctly.

I have a measure, well all of the measures of the piece end and the rest of the piece goes on without it.

I know about Fit measure, but nothing about how to inform that. Whatever I've found in the literature turned into gobblegook pretty soon, bu I'd try that too.

Thanks, Canary

It is not very clear to me what you mean.

Is there only one measure in the entire document? (= is the document a 1-measure document?)

Could you attach a picture here?

Do you perhaps mean “systems next to each other”?
Take a look at the attached Finale 2012 document.

Peter

If you want to delete blank measures at the end of a file, just select them and press delete.

Hi Canary

There is no score attached to your post.

You might want to try again.
In the Attachment Manager, double check that the file is listed in the bottom half after you click on the "Upload File" button

Cheers...

Hi Canary

If you are talking about measure 1, you can just use the selection tool and select the measure then press <del> to remove the measure.

If you are talking about measure 51-52, there look to be two problems. (I cannot tell without looking at the original .mus file)

1) The staff system that contains measure 51 has had its right margin changed. Use the Page Layout Tool and select the box on the lower right of measure 51.
Right click and select "Edit Margins". Set the Right Margin to 0

2) It looks like measure 52 is set to "Begin a new staff system" (use the measure tool, double click on measure 52. The option is under "behaviour"). Turn that option off and measure 52 will jump up to the same system as measure 51 (you could also enable include in measure numbering at the same time)

If you are asking about something different, you might need to explain what you need a little more and possibly attach the actual score.

Cheers...
