I rarely need to use this feature, and I know it's in the user manual (and I think it's in the Mass Edit tool) but I can't for the life of me find it. I've been searching every time I compose through the user manual looking for it, but I just can't find it. Might I implore one of you fine folks to help me? It'd be greatly appreciated.

Use the Mass Edit Tool to select (highlight) the area you want to copy. Then use Edit - Copy to capture the data.

In the score you are copying to, use the Mass Edit Tool to select (highlight) the first measure of the staff you want to copy to, and then use Edit - Insert. If you are copying from more than one staff, make sure the target staves are in the same order as those you are copying from and select the first measure of each of the staves.

Always use Edit - Insert, NOT Edit - Paste. The Insert command is more reliable as to getting the information copied. Also, you may have to re-enter some items that do not copy such as some text items. You may also have to do some other adjusting if, for example, you are copying only one of several staves.
