I have a piece with three 1st/2nd endings. Everything looks fine on screen, but when I print it, the top bracket lines of 2 of the ending pairs (on systems 5 & 6) don't show up. So, for example, the 1st ending just looks like |1, with no bracket line going over the top of the "1". I've tried deleting and redoing the endings to no avail.

For what it is worth, I am unable to duplicate your problem.

The attached PDF file shows what I get:
no missing bracket lines

My result indicates that the culprit is not in the Finale document, but rather elsewhere (perhaps in the printer?).

Thanks Peter. Just to be sure, you printed the Finale document and the pdf is just an example of what came out of your printer? I ask because I exported to pdf and it looked fine.

Hi Campersand

I've just tried this and like Peter, I could not reproduce the issue.
I've printed both from the PDF Peter supplied and directly from your score. Both printouts look just fine.

Have you tried printing the PDF and seeing if the issue is still there?
If so, perhaps you could take the PDF and try it on as different printer. (If you don't have one, try your local library).

That would isolate where the issue might lie (driver or printer)
If the file prints OK on a different printer, you could try turning off then turning on your printer. If it's an inkjet, you could try cleaning the nozzles.
If laser, try taking the toner cartridge out and giving it a (gentle) shake.

If the print issue is still there on a different printer, you could try re-installing the printer driver and try again.

Cheers...

Daz. :o)
