I have an imac sierra. After installing the info that displays when I scroll over the Finale icon at the bottom of my desktop "Bar" is that of the old 25.0 insyed of the new 25.2 Why is that the case. Shouldn't the new version info display since I completed the installation?

Is that in the Finder? The Finder caches a lot of file information, so it might not refresh until you reboot or maybe relaunch the Finder.

I have to launch Finale and click on "about Finale" to see what version, on my IMac/Sierra.
Putting the curser on the Finale Icon in the Dock only indicates that it is Finale, no version show there.
