(I like to work this way because having the measures w/o rests means I can look at the page as a blank canvas and fill in whatever I like without dealing with default rests).
Then, after the composition is finished, you want to turn the rests back on for final printing, and need to re-check "Display Rests in Emtpy Measures" for all the instruments in the score.
This is a hastle, as are similar actions in which you have to comb through every instrument in Staff Attributes to make the same change again and again.
How wonderful it would be to have a Finalescript to turn the rests back on for every instrument in the score.
Can this be done?
Can you have a Finalescript dive into Staff Attributes, call up instrument one, check the rest box, call up instrument two, check the rest box, call up instrument three... to instrument last, checking ever rest box along the way?
Or more broadly, can you have FS perform a particular task in Staff Attributes across all instruments in the score?
Thanks in advance.

I'm both thankful and embarrassed -
That absolutely does the trick!
Thanks very much -
I wonder how many other little things are lurking in the program that would make my life so much easier and that I don't know about!
Regards,
