Since upgrading to 2014.5, I've been getting a pop-up that says "Cannot find instrument bank file at /Applications/Garritan Personal Orchestra 4/Banks/Standard/GPO.(instrument).xml." It then asks "Do you want to uninstall this product?"

I always click "Yes," enter an administrator password, and then the Garritan sounds I'm using come up no problem at all. Since I don't have any sounds assigned to that instrument bank, I can't find a folder to delete them from. Is there a way to just reassign my audio settings to bypass this?

Thanks. :)

Does the file exist st that location or not?
Agreeing to uninstall something that you want to keep doesn't sound ideal. I would reinstall GPO if I were you.

NB: make sure you update the Aria player and engine afterwards, as the newer version required by Finsle 2014.5 may get replaced by an older one in the GPO installer.

I had this problem too, so I contacted Finale's Tech Support: here is the solution they posed for me (I'm using Finale 2012, though I own 2014.5):

"What I'd recommend trying first is to reassign your playback sounds. To do this, choose MIDI/Audio > Reassign Playback Sounds > Yes."

Actually, it did not solve the problem at all. As it turns out, so more emails to Tech Support ...

Yeah, didn't fix my issues either. :( Any word back from them?
