I'm trying to notate flute music that has flutter tonguing glissando. for ex. from a C up to a F with a rolling sound. I have no clue how that works. If anyone could help me with finale that would be greatsmilewinkgrin smilewinkgrin!

The simplest, least cool way would be to write "flutter tongue" with a little skraggly line over the figure.

The use of "fl." instead of "flutter tongue" is recommended by several texts.

If the flautist speaks English, "flutter tongue" will ALWAYS work but will get you no points at all from that graduate seminar you were taking...

(The little icons in your message are animated. What a waste of bandwidth. Yes: I am an old fart.)
