While using speedy entry, since 2k1, esp.
in 2k2, when using automatic spacing
and automatic update layout, there are so
many more screen redraws it's almost
like old times ;-) . I understand some
redraws are the nature of the beast but
some, like the following, I would love to
see fixed or returned to the way they
worked previously:
1. Moving from any left edge speedy edit
window to another redraws (w/ automatic
music spacing turned on - started in 2k1)
2. Spacebar/click playback with a speedy
edit window open redraws (occurs w/out
automatic features turned on - new to
2k2)
3. Multiple redraws upon exiting speedy
edit window - w/ automatic features
turned on but shouldn't one redraw do it?
My machine's pretty fast but nos. 2 and 3
are truly bothersome when working on a
larger score.
