I've been using Finale 2002d with Mac OS
9.2 for a long time with no problem. I
recently installed OS X and have tried to
run Finale after starting up "Classic."
While it does open, I'm experiencing
some annoying glitches: when windows
pop up in which it asks me to type in a
number (e.g. in the "set page view
percent") the numbers typed in don't
appear. Nor does text appear naming a
document in the "save as" window. But
most annoying of all, the measure
number box in scroll view (in the lower left
corner of the window) doesn't show the
measure number and won't allow me to
type a number in. I'm sure there are other
such glitches that I have yet discovered
and was wondering if others have
experienced the same issues. In their
totality, they are enough to not make me
want to do much work running Classic
with OS X. Strangely, when I restart in
Classic, (i.e. with no OS X) these
problems disappear. Any explanations
out there?
Thanks,
BR
