As you can see, the title, author, page number, etc. are in the wrong places. The arranger credit is off the page. Also, the staff spacing is not consistent from page 1 to page 2 of the part. Perhaps the problem is that the score is landscape while the parts are portrait, a situation which would seem to be fairly standard. Anyway, the video breezes through the description, without addressing any of these concerns. By the way, the Carmel Big Band Workshop was a huge success. When you say “As you can see, the title, author, page number, etc. are in the wrong places.”, you do not tell what you need. What are “the right places”? Should the text block e. g. be horizontally aligned Left, Centered, or Right?
Fortunately your screen shots are taken while Finale is in the Text Tool so that we can see the text block handles.
My guess is that this is “user error”, at least for the arranger credit: The text block handle on the arranger credit is at the right end of the text block, thus revealing that this text block is aligned Left. You probably need this text block to be aligned Right (= aligned from the right page margin). You can change the alignment in the dialog box Frame Attributes.
Craig Buhler said... …Also, the staff spacing is not consistent from page 1 to page 2 of the part… When creating new systems and pages in a linked part Finale uses the settings in Document menu > Page Format > Parts…
Fix (for parts that are not already generated): First make sure that the settings in {Page Format for Parts} are as needed, then use the Page Layout Tool to Redefine Pages.
Are you an experienced Finale user? I am not sure how detailed instructions you need.
I hope that this is clear? If not, ask again.

While linked parts generally work well, and allow a different layout than the score, there are still a few cases where you need the flexibility of an unlinked part (= an independent part). That’s where extracted parts are the solution.
