Hey.  I'm using Finale 2002.  I'm trying to copy music from one score onto a new score.  I would like to take two parts that each have their own individual lines, and put them on to the same system in the new score.  I'm trying to use the layer option, as in copy the first part into layer 1 and then copy the second part into layer 2, but it's not working.  Is this possible to do, or am I doing something incorrectly?  Thanks.

You should move the second part into Layer 2 BEFORE you copy it, since the layer info is included in the copy.
