Would it be possible to create a plug-in to convert tabbed chords into fretboard diagrams? This would be very useful, especially in the context of teaching, as it is much faster to create tablature than fretboard diagrams, and the latter is better suited to aid the visualisation of chords.

I'm not a developer myself, but I thought I would share the idea in the hopes that one of you experts on this forum might want to look into it. Anyone up for the challenge?

Excellent idea!

Several years ago a new Finale user asked whether the Finale program itself had the ability to generate fretboards from TAB.

But this is the first time (I think) that a user asks for a Finale plug-in, that can generate fretboards from TAB.

+1 from me.
