Hello, I am the leader and conductor of a local community band.
I understand that SmartMusic has support for school based organizations, but could my group also benefit from the software?

I really like the idea of managing my entire group and sending them music through the software.
The assessment will be their own responsibility; I wouldn't be monitoring there progress or assessing them like in an education situation, you know?

Any advice on what should I do would be amazing.

Thank you,
Jonathan Frost

Scroll through the concert band area and they can play their part with a band accompaniment and it tell them what they miss. That is fast becoming one of my favorite areas.

Set them up as a class called community band and send it to them with a really late date. Give them a grading scale and go to town. They will really enjoy the ease of practicing.
