Having trouble with the Mallet assessment working in Smartmusic. Other instruments seem to work but Mallet just does not work at all (doesn't show the notes as they're being hit) and so he's having to submit just a recording without knowing if he's getting the correct notes or not. We've tried the IPAD version and the Windows version, uninstalled.

yeah Mallets are a little.... "hit or miss" on how they assess, seems to be an issue with overtones... I know the iPad has a way to switch between xylo, bells or marimba, which seems to help some (octave differences between them) but even them sometimes it just plain doesn't read...
