Only $90.00 to upgrade, but sometimes it's not worth the hassle to upgrade.

Is Finale 2003 better than 2002?

 Thanks,

That said, I would say that the 2003 upgrade is only essential if you use TAB notation a lot. The other improvements, while nice, are not terribly important.

I thought the saying was "if it ain't broke don't fix it." No matter.

If it's not broke for you, then don't fix it. I can't say that I'm any better off with 2003 than I was with 2002. I thought 2000 was great and could still be living in harmony with it. But I'm still living in harmony with a 1980 Honda with over a quarter million miles on it.

To me $90.00 translates to 3 to 4 bags of groceries and some beer. Well, maybe 2 bags with the beer.

I don't know. I like it. Sometimes it's just nice to have something new for a change.

"wow, what's that, finale? looks interesting....say, weren't you in here the other day? wanna tell me all about that music notation stuff sometime?" (you get the picture)
