Since Michael Good was a bit curious, here's a some info if you want an early-bird look.

The Reference is here:
http://www.finaletips.nu/frameworkref/

Browse around in the reference to get a feel for how the documentation works.

The Wiki is here:
http://www.finaletips.nu/pdkframeworkwiki/

The Wiki currently has 2 sample plug-ins. Please take a look at them to get a basic introduction to the framework.

This is very much a work in progress at this point, so if you don't understand what it's about - don't worry at this point. If you understand what it's about but have unanswered questions, please let me know.

I, too, add my thanks, Jari! This stuff is way above my head, but it's very generous of you to offer your experience and advice to those who might want to tackle writing plugins.

The documentation for version 0.04 of the PDK Framework is now available. Now, you should more clearly see how it works (if you're a C++ programmer).

Here's a fully documented class that should give you a good idea of what it's about:
http://www.finaletips.nu/frameworkref/class_f_c_measure.html

Also, look at the source code the the sample plug-ins in the Wiki:

Is there a way to download your framework yet?

I've just noticed that the 2000 and 98 PDK are still available for download on the MM updates area. Are they still relevant/useful?
