Hi all.

I have just purchased and installed 2014.5 on two computers. On my MacBook with OS 10.11.3 everything seems to work fine, but on my iMac with Mountain Lion installed, the cursor disappears when working in simple entry. When I'm outside the score it shows, but as soon as I come near a staff it disappears. Is this a known issue?

I doubt that 2014.5 will have been sufficiently tested with Mountain Lion. Any reason you're still on it? If your iMac can run ML, it can run El Capitan. (Make sure you've got maxed out RAM, though.)

Yes. Please send it in to tech support, although they will give you the "not supported" response.

It seems that on my system (running El Capitan), it goes behind the score or palettes. Does it reappear if you click in the score?

I have 2014.5 installed on Mountain Lion and don't have the problem - the cursor displays normally.

I think Wiggy is right - I'd update to El Capitan. You might want to clone the ML installation just in case (Carbon Copy Cloner).

Wiggy – yes there's a reason. I've just spent too much time on fixing my MacBook, so I need a little break from upgrading :-) I'll do it soon though.

Mike – if I click (and of course I don't know where I'm clicking) it enters a note and disappears again.

Thank you both for answering. (Edit: the three of you …)
